Serious Injury Compensation Solicitors

Robert Jones

Senior Associate, Serious Injury Solicitor

SeniorLitigator3Robert qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 and has over 15 years’ experience in personal injury compensation claims. He joined the company in 2003 and was promoted to the role of Senior Associate. Robert is also an accredited Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Before joining us here at CFG Law, Robert completed his training contract and worked for several years at a Defendant firm of Solicitors. This training and experience taught Robert the strategy and methods used by Defendants; he can therefore formulate the best possible approach to employ in each case to ensure that his clients’ cases are successful. He deals with many claims where liability is denied and does not hesitate to take cases to court when Defendants are obstructive. He has had considerable success in taking over cases which have been rejected or abandoned by other solicitors.

Many of the claims Robert deals with involve serious orthopaedic injuries. These clients often have difficulties with mobility and Roberts helps to alleviate these problems by giving them access to rehabilitation to help with their injuries, as well as arranging adaptations to their homes which can improve their quality of life. He also arranges other bespoke treatment and therapies for clients, to ensure they make the best possible recovery from their injuries.

Robert also has experience in dealing with head and brain injury claims. Often, these clients are simply not receiving the support they need, both for themselves and their family. In these instances, Robert strives to find them the best possible care for their injuries, as well as guidance to improve their recovery and regain as much normality as possible.

Chronic pain claims are also a speciality of Robert’s. These claims can be extremely complex and Robert has lots of experience in dealing with chronic and complex pain. He has seen many cases where chronic pain has been difficult to diagnose, and as such, Robert has arranged for his clients to see specialist medical experts in this field to ensure they get the correct diagnoses and treatment for their particular condition as quickly as possible. He understands that treatment of chronic pain is vitally important to improve the symptoms for his clients, who are struggling with daily activities due to their ongoing feelings of pain and discomfort.

Robert approaches all cases with empathy and humility; he endeavours to treat every client and every case on an individual basis. At the outset of the case and throughout, he identifies what his client’s priorities are and what they seek to achieve from their serious injury claim. Both inside and outside of work, Robert instinctively supports the underdog and fights relentlessly to seek justice for his clients.

He helps to secure the best possible settlement for clients by early issuing of claims and applying pressure throughout every stage of the litigation progress. He also helps to expedite and maximise recovery with early referrals to specialist medical experts and secures funding for specialist treatment.

Robert has recently been fundraising for The Children’s Trust by participating in the Great Manchester 10k Run as part of the CFG Law Team. The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity helping children with brain injury. They provide expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care for families across the whole of the UK, from their specialist centre.
