Daniel Saxton, Solicitor

Daniel joined us here at CFG Law in 2014 and is a Solicitor. Before joining CFG Law, Daniel studied for a degree in Law at the University of Liverpool and completed his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester.

Daniel has previous legal experience at a Defendant costs firm of solicitors. His time at this firm has helped Daniel to understand tactics employed by Defendants and he uses this in his work at CFG Law. His work involved disputing bills of costs, preparing points of dispute and attending detailed assessment hearings.

Daniel has experience in dealing with orthopaedic injury claims. These kinds of injuries can have a huge effect on people’s lives, significantly reducing their mobility and impairing their independence. Daniel has seen first-hand how these injuries affect his clients and has instructed specialist orthopaedic surgeons for them who can advise on the best treatments for their injuries, improving their recovery and helping them to get their life back on track.

Daniel also has experience in dealing with head injury claims. In some instances, head injuries can be subtle and symptoms can be difficult to determine and show they are as a result of an accident. Daniel understands how frustrating this lengthy process can be for clients and he fights tirelessly to achieve the best possible compensation available to support these clients and their loved ones.

As well head injuries and orthopaedic injuries, Daniel also has experience in chronic pain claims. Chronic pain and fibromyalgia can be very debilitating conditions, which impact hugely on a persons’ life. It is important that support services are put in place to help people deal with these conditions, addressing the cause of their pain and also providing emotional and psychological support which helps them to manage their pain. Daniel has instructed pain management experts for his clients, so they can learn ways of dealing with their pain in day-to-day situations, improving their quality of life.

Daniel has also instructed plastic surgeons and cosmetic makeup specialists on behalf of clients who have been left with scarring from their injuries. Scarring can cause severe psychological problems and as such, these experts can vastly improve a client’s outlook on their injuries and ultimately improve their recovery.

Daniel also deals with cases where someone has been injured whilst abroad. These are complex claims, usually made against tour operators, so it is important to instruct a solicitor who has expertise in this area. Daniel has a clear understanding of the relevant domestic laws and has successfully negotiated these difficult claims for clients.

Daniel believes honesty is key to dealing with his clients. He ensures they fully understand all of the processes of their claims and they are confident in the way their claims are progressing. He deals with all of his claims efficiently and effectively to ensure the best possible outcome for his clients.
