Leading serious injury solicitors CFG Law have been proving their charitable credentials by taking part in the Great Manchester 10k Run and raising funds for The Children’s Trust.

Staff at CFG Law regularly particulate in firm-wide charity fundraising efforts and with our headquarters based in Manchester, a team of 14 runners came forward to participate in the most popular 10k run in Europe – the Great Manchester 10k.

Throughout the year, our staff are encouraged to nominate a charity of their choice for a variety of fundraising events. They can nominate a charity that is close to their heart for personal reasons, or one which they have worked with in their line of work and which has inspired them. Following on from the firm’s donation of £5000 earlier in the year, staff decided to add their support to help raise funds for “Megan’s Appeal” for The Children’s Trust.

CFG Law has built a reputation over 30 years, helping thousands of clients claim compensation after a serious injury which has had a significant impact on their life. Our firm is well known for initiating early diagnosis for clients and we have a strong focus on early treatment and support which is vital to help clients make a quicker recovery.

Alastair Fernie, Managing Director at CFG Law said, “The Children’s Trust have a fantastic focus supporting children affected by brain injury As a Practice, we have donated to The Children’s Trust earlier in the year. Therefore I was really pleased that staff chose to support them further by running the Manchester 10k. They had a fantastic time and I am thrilled that their joint efforts raised more than £1700 – I hope it goes a long way to support the work of the charity.”
