CFG has signed up as a founding member of a new scheme launched by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) to support vital work on behalf of people injured through negligence.
The APIL Corporate Supporter Scheme gives law firms the opportunity to work strategically with APIL to address the key challenges affecting injured people. By supporting the organisation’s campaigning and research work, the scheme aims to strengthen the sector’s collective voice and ensure that the interests of victims and survivors remain at the heart of reform.
Richard Clark, CFG Group Chief Executive Officer, said:
“We are proud to be among the first firms to support APIL’s Corporate Supporter Scheme. At CFG, we have always been committed to standing up for injured people and ensuring their voices are heard. By joining this initiative, we can help lead the way in making the sector better, for the benefit of those whose lives have been changed by negligence.”
Mike Benner, APIL chief executive, said:
“I am delighted to welcome CFG as a founder member of our scheme. Injured people and their lawyers are subject to all kinds of misconceptions and reforms which are not in the best interest of victims and survivors. CFG will now play a major part in supporting us to help put that right.”
