CFG Law join BASIC Brain and Spinal Injury Legal Panel

Written by CFG Law, 30 September 2015

CFG Law join BASIC's (Brain and Spinal Injury Centre) Legal Panel

We are proud to announce our appointment to the BASIC Legal Panel.

BASIC (the Brain and Spinal Injury Centre) is a registered charity which offers a wide range of rehabilitation services to individuals and families following a serious brain or spinal injury. With headquarters in Manchester, the charity provides cognitive, emotional and physical support as well as help with training and getting back to work.

To join the BASIC legal panel, solicitors must demonstrate their expertise in handling serious head and spinal injury claims to ensure that individuals and families can access specialist legal services. As a firm, we have more than 30 years’ experience handling many high value and complex claims, helping seriously injured clients and their families get access to justice.

We place an absolute focus on putting the needs and wellbeing of our clients and families at the heart of everything we do, and we were keen to build links with BASIC who also embrace this ethos.

Because we are dedicated to early assessment and tailored rehabilitation for seriously injured clients, linking with charities such as BASIC allows us to further help our clients, who then have access to the wealth of knowledge that such charities and support services can offer for their particular injuries and the challenges these pose.

Philip Coulthurst, Head of Serious Injury at CFG Law said, “No amount of money can every truly compensate for the life-changing impact that a serious injury has on someone’s life. At CFG Law our clients’ needs are a priority and early assessment, treatment and support are absolutely key to helping our clients get their lives back on track.

People often underestimate just how much a charity such as BASIC can help them after they suffer a serious injury. Their knowledge and experience of helping people after discharge from hospital is vital.”
