CFG Law welcome new staffJanuary 28th, 2016
We are pleased to report a bright start to the New Year, with an additional 11 new members of staff joining the firm in the last 6 months.
We are an independent firm of solicitors specialising in serious injury claims. It is our priority to access early assessment and tailored rehabilitation for clients, leading to quicker and improved recovery. Based in South Manchester, we have built our reputation based on putting our clients’ needs and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
The new staff members build on the firm’s already outstanding team of legal experts. The strength of the firm lies in the talent of its people and our expertise in helping injured people to recover from devastating injuries.
We are therefore excited to report on the arrival of a Senior Associate, 4 Associates and Solicitors, 3 Paralegals, a new Finance Manager and 2 additional support staff.
Senior Associate, Andrew McGowan joins from GLP Solicitors in Bury. Andrew has over 28 years’ experience in personal injury and a track record of success helping seriously injured clients. Andrew also brings considerable expertise in brain injury cases and is a recognised Brain Injury Approved Litigator with APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).
Also joining the team are 3 Associate Solicitors. Associate Solicitor Leanne Tattam joins from an in-house legal position at a brain injury case management company. She has extensive experience in handling complex head and brain injury claims and is also a volunteer and Trustee on the committee of Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde.
Associate Solicitors James Easson and Vicky Whitney both join from Slater & Gordon. James brings more than 7 years’ experience of handling complex and high value serious injury claims. He has particular experience of handling high value brain, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and complex orthopaedic injury cases. Vicky also brings extensive serious injury expertise to the firm with particular knowledge and experience of orthopaedic injuries, severe brain injuries, amputations and chronic pain. She has experience of handling complex, high value claims, often securing 6 or 7 figure settlements for her clients.
Further strengthening the legal team is Solicitor Celia Fraser, who brings considerable expertise in handling claims relating to employers’ liability, occupiers’ liability and product liability to CFG Law, in addition to claims against the CICA (the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority).
We are also very keen to grow and nurture young legal talent and have recently taken on 3 additional Paralegals; Amanda Zimba, Katie Lowe and Julia Boughen, alongside additional secretarial support staff, Donna Voyce and Lynne Ball, and a new Finance Manager, Anne Owen.
It is an exciting time of growth for the firm and we are pleased to welcome the new additional staff, adding to considerable expertise within our business.
CFG Law’s Managing Director Alastair Fernie commented,
“At CFG Law, we value individuals who share our core beliefs of early treatment, rehabilitation and ensuring that the needs and wellbeing of clients are at the heart of everything we do. To offer the high level of support, it is therefore essential that we continue to strengthen our skills and knowledge by recruiting like minded professionals to enhance our already outstanding team.”
