Helen Riley

Helen is head of people and culture at CFG Law and is also a member of our Senior Leadership Team. Leading a small team, Helen is responsible for developing and delivering our People and Culture Strategy, which includes learning and development, policies and procedures, recruitment and colleague engagement in respect of our core values, ambition and purpose.

Employer brand management is also key to Helen's role. This brand management is core to our external recruitment campaigns, ensuring clear and consistent messaging. Helen leads all of our recruitment activities, ensuring any opportunities are shared widely to attract the very best candidates to CFG Law. Helen also has responsibility for accreditation, including our Investors in People and Best Companies accreditations.

As a business committed to developing all its colleagues and promoting from within, building and implementing a learning and development strategy that meets both business and colleague's needs, is also a key focus for Helen. Working closely with managers and their teams, she regularly provides guidance, advice and support with training and development, ensuring appropriate performance frameworks and training plans are in place to support career progression and high performance. Helen also oversees Talent Management and Succession Planning, to ensure we have the right skills, expertise and knowledge at all levels to help us retain our colleagues and achieve our ambitions as a business.

In addition to leading and managing all areas of HR, as a member of the Senior Leadership team, Helen also works closely with other team members from an operational and strategic perspective, providing support with business-wide projects and initiatives.
