Jessica is our HR administrator and provides day to day support to colleagues and our people and culture team. This includes an active role in colleague recruitment and promoting our colleague brand, maintaining the HR system, supporting our head of people and culture in delivering our strategy, and acting as the first point of contact for supervisors and colleagues on HR matters.
Jessica leads our graduate recruitment process, which involves arranging our paralegal assessment centre and coordinating and attending external recruitment events, such as law fairs. Jessica is also involved in the interview processes and recruitment campaigns across the firm.
Training and development is a key part of Jessica’s role. She regularly identifies and arranges external and internal training for colleagues and delivers training sessions and support to managers on supervision and welfare. Jessica is instrumental in our onboarding process and welcoming new colleagues. She arranges full induction plans for all new joiners, ensuring they meet with a wide variety of colleagues from across the business so that they can get a real flavour of CFG Life.
As a trained mental health first aider, Jessica’s role also involves undertaking welfare meetings with colleagues, leading on our maternity leave process, and regularly providing advice and guidance on policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
