Established over 30 years ago, CFG Law is a team of over 70 solicitors and support colleagues specialising in serious and catastrophic injury claims, including serious brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopaedic injuries, fatal accidents, chronic pain, PTSD and more. We are led by a Senior Leadership Team of experienced solicitors and non-solicitors with a wide range of legal and business experience between them.

Our purpose

We do what we do because we want to help.

We recognise those affected by injury goes beyond the injured person and includes family and all those other people wanting to help, including healthcare professionals, police family liaison officers, charities, etc.

We know that to be effective we have to work together with each other as a team and with all those others involved including insurers.

This is why our purpose is to help those affected by injury – together.

Our values & goals

Our values of Support, Passion, Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork underpin everything we do and reflect what is important to us.

Our goal is to be a Centre of Excellence and the natural choice for those seeking assistance for themselves, a friend or family member, a patient or otherwise.

In doing so, we aim to lead the way by providing an exceptional service which others will follow.

Court of Protection

Our specialist Court of Protection solicitors can help you to apply to the Court of Protection for deputyship, as well as act as a professional deputy, easing the stress and strain of managing a family member’s affairs should they lose capacity through injury or illness.

Personal Injury Trusts

Our specialist solicitors can also advise you on setting up a Personal Injury Trust to protect any means-tested benefits you may be eligible to. Creating a Personal Injury Trust can be necessary in some cases because any compensation you receive which is not held in a Trust will be added to any other capital you have and may affect your eligibility to means-tested benefits.
