How have you been supported in progressing your career since joining CFG?

I was supported in progressing my career from the moment I began working at CFG. I wanted to progress to Associate Solicitor, so with support from my manager, we reviewed the job specification and formulated a plan defining clear goals and objectives to help me achieve my aspiration.

As part of my development, I was given the opportunity of supervising a new paralegal which I've really enjoyed - guiding someone starting out in their new legal career. I've also attended networking events, presented at department meetings, and delivered training to junior colleagues. These are things I never did in my previous firm.

CFG is a supportive and fun place to work. The cases that I am involved in are very interesting, and I am given a variety of tasks to perform, so no day is ever the same.

What excites you about your future career at CFG?

I’m excited to continue to progress my career with CFG.  I want to continue to develop in my role as a supervisor to junior colleagues and be a part of their development journey. I am also excited to continue being involved in really interesting cases with some amazing clients and be a part of making a difference to their lives. I also enjoy working closely with a variety of charities that CFG partner with and I hope to increase my involvement with them.
