David joined CFG Law recently as a Senior Associate Solicitor and has specialised in the field of personal injury for over 20 years. He brings with him a wealth of experience dealing with clients who have sustained the most serious of injuries including amputations, severe brain injuries, psychological trauma as well as ophthalmic and multiple orthopaedic injuries. Securing early access to the best rehabilitation, treatment and support for both the seriously injured party and their family is imperative and is an issue David feels very passionate about. To this end, his early and incisive communication with the various parties to the claim including the insurers and NHS is essential in assembling the supportive team required. His experience covers all fields of personal injury including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, occupiers and public liability for adults and children alike.
David has further built up an expertise in fatal accident litigation acting for families and dependants of those who have lost loved ones in tragic circumstances. He works tirelessly to secure the maximum level of compensation for those families, very often including children, in order that they may have some security and peace of mind into the future. David is a Solicitor-Advocate having obtained his Higher Rights of Audience in May 2013. He has represented and continues to represent families at Inquests and related hearings which are often a very emotional and stressful time for relatives of the deceased but are arenas where crucial evidence can be obtained for the subsequent civil litigation. He also represents his clients at various hearings throughout the course of the litigation including CCMCs, CMCs, Court applications, Infant Approval & Investment hearings and other interlocutory hearings.
David is a member of the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates (SAHCA) and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
